Discuss your sourcing brief ↗
A factory quotation becomes easier to compare when every supplier receives the same brief. Define the models, order quantities, supplied items and market requirements before comparing the headline unit price.
1. Check the product and factory fit
Ask how the selected product is made, which changes are feasible and how sample approval is handled. Match the supplier’s actual capabilities to your range rather than relying on a broad catalogue or a general certificate statement.
At XZ Hunting, the available factory materials show metal fabrication, sewing, assembly and packing. Review our manufacturing and OEM page for the sourcing process and the information to provide.
2. Send a complete enquiry
| Brief item | What to include |
|---|---|
| Product selection | Model numbers, required configuration and any reference photos or drawings you are authorized to share. |
| Quantity | Estimated quantity by model and any planned assortment. |
| Customization | Branding, colors, material, dimensions or supplied-set changes. |
| Market | Destination country, retail channel, intended season and relevant documentation needs. |
| Packaging | Retail pack, cartons, labeling, instructions and shipping marks. |
| Quotation basis | Destination, delivery basis, inspection requirements and the costs you need identified. |
3. Review the sample and specification together
Use an approved model specification and sample to record decisions. Confirm dimensions, materials, included accessories, finish and packing. Track any change so it is reflected in the order documentation, quotation and inspection brief.
4. Compare total order value
Factory-direct sourcing can combine model selection, customization and bulk-order discussions with one production brief. Compare the same product and scope: a quotation with different accessories, packing or delivery assumptions is not a like-for-like price comparison.
Minimum quantities, sample arrangements, production timing and payment terms should be confirmed for the specific order. This guide does not set fixed lead times or promise the same customization for every model.
5. Agree quality and shipment information
Discuss the inspection points and the documents relevant to your destination before approval. Review the packed quantity, carton measurements, labeling and how an issue will be recorded and reviewed. See the quality-control page and the practical QC checklist.
