A useful treestand shortlist starts with the product format and the customers you serve. “Steel or aluminum?” is one part of that decision; platform dimensions, seating, packed size and the supplied configuration matter too.
Start with ladder or hang-on construction
A ladder stand includes a different structure and packing arrangement from a hang-on stand. Compare the installation documentation, supplied hardware and listed dimensions before treating two models as alternatives. Single- and double-seat designs also serve different assortment needs.
Browse ladder treestands and hang-on treestands as separate product types.
Compare the complete model, not the material alone
| Model | Frame | Catalogue detail to compare |
|---|---|---|
| XZ-S001 | Steel | 24.5 × 28 in platform (approximately 62.2 × 71.1 cm); flip-up seat and footrest. |
| XZ-A18 | Aluminum | 26 × 34 in platform (approximately 66.0 × 86.4 cm); backrest and flip-up seating. |
| XZ1001 | Steel ladder stand | Listed rail height 16.65 ft (approximately 5.08 m); deep platform and adjustable padded rail. |

The figures above are catalogue references, not a substitute for an approved order specification. Review the current model page and request confirmation of dimensions, listed ratings and supplied items.
Use five questions to build the shortlist
- Which format and seat arrangement fit the intended assortment?
- What platform and seat dimensions are required?
- What are the listed product weight, packed dimensions and pack count?
- Which finish, seat, label or packaging changes do you need?
- Which instructions and model-specific documents does your destination require?
Compare factory quotations on the same basis
A lower unit figure is only useful when the model, supplied parts and quotation basis match. Include your quantity, packaging brief, inspection points and delivery destination when requesting prices. Ask the factory to identify anything that remains to be confirmed.
Branding or structural changes should be reviewed before sample approval. A new material or configuration should not be assumed to retain another model’s documentation or listed rating.
